Seven starters- lead by Asgard who chose a starboard course and drifted across the line then back again only to find a tear in his heady so retired.
Next was Rooger who appeared to be installing a double reef in 2 knots then went for full gear. Grecher was next motoring to the line to no advantage ( below getting part pies warm?) Ripple (not Nipple) was off at same time and got busy, then Rimfire, Seraya and Sentier.
As there was no wind retirements commenced well before the first mark at Caboolture. Ripple ran out of beer and fresh sand crab sandwiches and retired leaving Rooger to win the drifting competition.
Rain encouraged everybody to return to the safety of the Club which was open.
Good relaxing day after the hectic Anzac Day.
