Tony (Sea Sprite) led the fleet off on a port course and had a good lead by the time Zingara, the second boat away took off in pursuit.
There were plenty of rain squalls observed in close proximity but, as it happened, the rain held off and nobody got wet.
Zingara was enjoying her new antifoul and came home a comfortable winner.
It was a close contest between Ripple and the fast finishing Jenesis with Ripple claiming the silver medal.
Other boats enjoying what turned out to be a pleasant day on the water were Double D, About Time and Rimfire,
Back at the clubhouse, the winners of the lucky draw were Hank (Seraya) and Trevor (Nice Try).
