Flare Recall July 2014

Flare recall Queensland skippers need to check their flares after a national recall of a red hand flares available across Queensland. Drew Marine Signal & Safety Australia Pty Ltd recalled its Aurora red hand flare with lot numbers from 3186 to 3260. This red hand flare is sold individually and as part of the Aurora Inshore Flare Kit.

You will get a fine if you operate in waters where flares are required safety equipment and you do not have a valid and in-date set of flares on board your boat.
